BLOG!! I feel happy, hopeful, confident, about this journey. I am addicted to the gym and the feeling I get after a workout....today was an easy light day :. 42 minutes on the treadmill 10.0 incline@2.8mph...hr was in the low 130's....I love that I don't have to be miserable and exhausted...it feels so good that am going to the gym every morning and also in the evenings 2-3 times a week l!!! Today is day 18...and despite having some soreness (thanks to doing weight training on my legs yesterday) I don't feel the need to take a day off...To me a day off is a recovery day...30-60 cardio of some kind!! This is becoming my routine...my darn body keeps waking up around 3am though!!! 3 days in a row...I feel wired and ready for my gym session!! I have been getting tired though when I am driving the kids to school which is not good...I need for my body to fall asleep and stay asleep for 6 hours bit it won't!! Any suggestions? Also want to work on waking up by 6am on weekends to stop the weekday jetlag...I also hit the 10 pound weight loss milestone this am.. weighed in at 243 pounds.. so 10 pounds in 17 days is pretty awesome!!! This is only possible because of the amount I have to lose ( start:253/goal:135) and the food choices I am making!!! No diet fads of any kind just good nutritious foods and about 80% natural not processed foods....it works!!! I could kick myself for not starting sooner...oh and apple slices are like a hunger suppressor for me?? I have no idea why!! I guess enough rambling...until next time..keep well and DONT give up
