First Day of the Rest of My Life
Friday, January 19, 2018
When I was growing up, I used to think that getting mail was a great privilege. It meant the possibility of good news from loved ones far away (or close by), celebration of life events and encouragement through trying times. Fast forward to adulthood where mail is mostly meaningless trappings of promises to save or protect yourself from the next disaster (bills too, but most of those come via email/app alerts). Yesterday I was reminded that mail can also be a catalyst for change in other ways. No I didn't get the secret to ultimate health or riches, but I was reminded that I have to make the best of the time that I have. Here's to the best days ahead.
