Some days it's hard to be out

Thursday, January 25, 2018

Yesterday when I went to lunch I had a good time and could have stayed in town to go to the Wed. Block class but decided to have another out day today. I actually sat next to someone that talks to me and isn't there with a whole group of friends. But it wasn't as success full as yesterday. But I got out and I did go into the sale corner and bought 10 yards of fabric. Just what I don't need.

I had trouble sleeping again last night so at 1 am after flipping around on the couch for several hours I got up and fixed the problem with the present quilt. I still have 2 more rows to attach and then the binding but it should be done soon. I also spent some time this afternoon cutting the baby quilt for my daughters employee. So it was a good day were that is concerned.

This evening I attached that front hall that seems to collect everything I don't know what to do with. I emptied a bag left from mom's apt. Not sure why I saved some of those things but I did. One was a picture that my mother had taken of the whole family when we were kids and the corresponding picture we had taken with us all in the same position at their 50th wedding anniv. So I'm glad I kept that.

Food was not real good today mostly because I was too lazy to make it. So it was a slider from Arby's for lunch and a shake for dinner again. I'm going to have to get in that kitchen and cook myself some meals for the freezer again.

Thank fulls....
Actually being on a first name bases with the people at the quilt shop. It's nice to be greeted when you walk in. I pick out my fabric, then went to my class, and left the gals to cut it and put it on my credit card. So when class was over all they did was hand me a bag. That feels like hugs to me.

My car gets a vote today. It takes me lots of fun places and never complains.

Not having to feel bad because I didn't eat quite right today. There is always tomorrow and I stayed in my calorie count but just didn't get enough veggies.

Tomorrow is a perm and then I'll have to do the shopping I skipped today. I also think I'm going to go to the furniture store and see if I can't find a chair that is more comfortable for crocheting and watching TV than my dad's big recliner. I don't like that chair very much., but it is better than not have any furniture.

"That feels like hugs to me" - I LOVE that! Having folks who know you, getting fun new (sale!) fabric, enjoying a class and picking up your bag with no fuss....that DOES feel like a hug!

I always feel better after getting out and about, even when it is going to the clinic early like tomorrow morning for blood work. I also stayed within my ranges for nutrition today, and got exercise done too. Sure hope you enjoy your time out tomorrow and hopefully find a chair you would like to use for crocheting and watching TV.

Getting out of the house always does me good. I worked in the yard today, it was sunny and not as cold as it was last week. Mm

I'm glad you found and saved the family pictures from your mom's apartment. What a nice keepsake to have.
I'm sorry you have so much trouble sleeping, and hope you have a better night tonight. emoticon

Have a great day tomorrow, driving your agreeable car and shopping! emoticon emoticon
