Feeling Down but not out!!

Well I thought I was losing more with all the work this past month...but nope..I had a comp and pen VA appt this morning and I weighed in at 244....I did eat breakfast before and had on my sneakers, leggings, shirt, and windbreaker but still!! I though I was finally free of the 40's!! I won't let it knock me down but my heart aches!I have done 1-2 and sometimes 3 hours of cardio everyday since I started on January 2nd!! I'm hoping it is muscle!!..I am going to get a home scale this weekend so I can track better!! I do feel I have changed though because I think about the foods I eat and I enjoy exercise...I even went and did about 2 and a half miles around the lake after my appt today...instead of stuffing my face I choose to exercise the emotions away!!

    Plateaus can be hard, good choice on the exercise instead of food for your feelings. What is your daily calorie differential? It could be that you're not eating enough and your body is holding on to everything for dear life for fear of you starving. Something else that also sometimes helps is playing with the macro-nutrient levels. I actually have to add fat to my diet to loose.

    Hang in there! Maybe you are gaining muscle as you said. Perhaps try measuring yourself along with the scale. When the numbers don’t move on the scale you may see a difference with your measurements. Keep on pushing because you are doing awesome!
