Health and Fitness Goals for February

Right. Last month was a bit of a mixed bag as far as reaching my goals in general. I think my health and fitness ones fell by the wayside, but let's see how I did.

Goals from last month:
* Start training plan to increase 5K speed. (I'm pretty much using Cto5K, though with staged speed increases on the treadmill.)
* Add simple strength training.
* Cut back on sugar and treats.

And how did I do? Yeah, nothing. I did none of that.

So, uh... Let's just do a take two this month:
* Work to increase 5K speed.
* Add simple strength training.
* Cut back on sugar/treats/refined carbs.

For that last one, I really want any progress at all there. Given my shopping trip last night involved buying ALL THE CARBS, cutting that back shouldn't be too difficult XD

What I want it to be back to low carb, since the stretch I did that was the best I've ever felt. (Also, the most weight I've ever dropped.) I need to solve the baked goods problem, though. They are my downfall.

    But baked goods!! I feel for you on that front. Maybe you can use the carbs you bought as part of your weight set for strength training. That was supposed to be funny. Feel free to (not) laugh. emoticon
