This day just started off weird and didn't get any better.

Really bad night last night. Even with my meds I had a restless leg attack that lasted for hours. Usually just getting up and walking around for 5 min. settles everything back down. But last night it was hours before I could even lay back down. And then when I woke up I'd been in the same position for so long I could barely walk. Then my phone rang....it was my hair dresser. Her car wouldn't start and I was her first appt. could I stop and pick her up. I was still in bed and I thought my appt. was tomorrow morning. But I hurried and got that done.

Stopped at the post office after my hair and then stopped at the city clerks office to show her the present quilt. She's trying to make a quilt and wanted to see some of my work.

Then it was off to town since I needed water and the jewelry store in town had called me weeks ago. My dad had dropped off a watch there last year and it took them a long time to figure out how to contact him because he'd died a little over a year ago. So I have the very pretty watch and then went to the store and came home super quick.....

It is so cold out today. I made myself a little vow this morning to work on cutting down my portions and did OK with it at meals but screwed up royal this evening and now I feel like an elephant. I snacked on Fiber One cereal.

I did get one square quilted today but have felt like I was running around in circles all day long. Right now I think I'm extra tired and want to go to bed. I also can't get warm. My day started with it being 2 degrees outside.

Thank fulls
1. A friend that goes out shopping so she can call and talk about her new cancer diagnosis without her husband hearing how scared she is. I just listened and told her I was always here for her. I'll see her when I'm in Seattle next week.
2. My hair dresser who is becoming a friend.
3. Sometimes this one is hard...but I think today I'll say the cats. One of them curled up on my feet when I tried to rest this afternoon and helped me warm up.

Tomorrow I will get those squares quilted since I don't need to leave the house and maybe I'll clean out the frig. since I have to do it before my trip next week.

Sometimes I'm thankful for my cats and sometimes they make me grind my teeth - I totally understand being conflicted on whether to be grateful for them!

You are such a sharing and caring person! That makes you a good friend, especially to your friend in Seattle, your friend at the city clerk's office and your hair dresser. They are lucky to know you!

Critters! Sometimes they are aggravating, and then again they can be so sweet! I'm glad they helped you get warm.

I'm sorry you had such a time with your legs. I wonder if it had anything to do with moving all the furniture...

I hope you have a better night. emoticon

So glad to hear the jewelry store contacted you to get your dads watch back in the family. I just detest having to go out when it is clod outside, and remember those days when living in Minnesota. So now that we live in Texas, Well I get cold when the temp drops into the low 58's with the wind blowing. Today went out for a doctor appointment and wore a heavy jacket it was only 60 degrees and windy--but yesterday was 89, so that makes for a chilly 60 with the wind.
How nice one of you cats decided to lay at your feet to warm you up. Animals sense when we are having some problem and try in their own way to help us.

I can't tolerate the cold as good as I use to. I bought a little electric heater that acts like a fan blowing warm air on me. I bought it off Amazon. Set it by my Living Room Chair. Love it! Glad you got your Dad's watch back. Precious Memories how they linger.
