I can do one thing

I am overwhelmed by the challenge of weight loss. The big number is overwhelming.
I have decided that I can do one thing. For one day, I will measure my food - not even make better choices - just measure whatever it is I am eating. I think that I'm afraid to see how bad my eating behaviour has become. Less binging, yes, but less nutritious choices too, which was not an issue before. I served my family very healthy food. Four of the five of us are very healthy (them). Food can be a healer if I allow it. I need to get out of my own way, and let the good in. Literally:)
