Living Way Church Fast 2/26/18 - 3/18/18

I have lost 5 pounds since I have been on the Living Way Church Fast. I have been on the fast for 7 days now and I feel good inside because I am eating the kinds of foods that I should it. For the 1st time in a year I weigh less than 250. My weight is at 247 right now.
On the Fast the 1st week I can have meat for 2 meals.
On the 2nd week of the fast I can have meat for one meal only.
On the 3rd week of the fast I cannot eat no meat.
On all 3 weeks of the fast the foods that the Church is abstaining from are as follows: No sugar of any kind, no fruit drinks or soda, No Cheese or Yogurt, No Bread, crackers, or tortillias.
I would like to maintain the weight that I lose during the fast and continue to lose more weight. I have a support group that is fasting with me and I know that I can do this. Every Sunday the pastor at my church reminds the congregation of the reasons for fasting. My daughter is on the fast with me as well.
One day I ate food from Juan Polo along with a Chinese Chicken Salad and I gained 3 pounds. My portions sizes were large and that is why I gained the weight. The next day I lost 2 pounds and that leaves my weight at 248 on 3/12/18.
I am feeling like after the fast is over at LWC, I want to continue giving up sugar. My blood sugar is in normal range now that I have not been eating sugar. I never ate a lot of bread only at breakfast time, I would have a breakfast sandwich in the morning. I need to limit the amount of bread, rice, potatoes, and pasta that I am eating and eat small portions of these foods. The key to weight loss is eating in small quantities and eating foods in moderations.
