Internal realignment

Monday, March 19, 2018

Since I'm not a registered dietician and don't know what all to believe any more (I don't care if they are written by a MD), I've got the number a local out-patient dietician.

A couple observations--cheese does not do nice things to my plumbing; eating sweets no longer provides a pleasant feeling, instead I start to feel sick. I've also noticed that when I have other things to focus on, I don't notice any feelings of hunger or low BS.

It's complicated. My DH has trouble when he eats parmesan cheese that was sold in shredded form, but not when he shreds it himself -- it's due to the added cellulose that maintains the texture. Packaged baked goods have a lot of stuff added that isn't clearly listed in the ingredients. Even dietitians can't keep up with it all. Best wishes on sorting it all out for yourself.
