Could There Be An Angel Among Us?

(Lifefoundonarun in Rippy's)

I’m not only proposing I know of an angel but she is right here on Sparkpeople! She may have touched you like she has me. For me, it was a recent event that really convinced me this woman was indeed an angel. But I will let you decide. Here are the facts as I know them:

The event-
I recently decided I had had enough pain and scheduled hip replacement on my right hip, my left having been replaced five years ago. Not having a wife anymore, my boys both doing their own things, I asked a sparker if she would come an take care of me the week after the surgery. Well, without hesitation she agreed and flew to Nashville a month ago.

The definition-
Angels are beings of light and love, who serve as Divine messengers and who offer guidance, protection, healing, and comfort according to Divine will. I suppose I could have just asked her if she was an angel but well I didn’t. That would have been rude right? At least a lack of faith.

The signs-
So, I’ve read that there are four signs you may have encountered an angel.

First sign is seeing a spark of light. Okay, at one point after first meeting her two years ago I did see flashes of light. Turns out that was just my retina detaching, just normal for people like me over 50 and not celestial. How about the fireworks I see when I’m with her? Right, not enough proof let’s go to the next sign.

Second sign is feeling the presence of your angel. This one is a bit tricky because she has been in Nashville before and she was definitely here when I needed her the most (for the surgery). I do sense her here and its not just the pictures of us on my walls. Is that enough proof?

Sign number three- receiving angelic guidance. Yeah, if they are talking about positive encouragement, well duh, she is like that all the time. Just check out any of her sparkpeople blogs.

Fourth sign is experiencing angelic intervention as when you experience synchronicity – things effortlessly line up for you and your path. We’ve been hiking a lot of paths not all effortlessly but definitely synchronicity, on Whitney, San Jacinto, and Tahquitz Peak.

So there you have my proof. So what do you think? Have you any doubts? Maybe you have been touched by this angel or others on Sparkpeople? I know I'm going to try to stay close to mine.

Well, I'm a bit humbled at the moment and a few tears are escaping my eyes, rolling down my cheeks to meet the smile that is plastered on my face. This is so beautiful. I was not expecting anything like this when you told me you were writing a blog about your surgery lol. A surgery you very bravely went through to make life a bit better for yourself. I'm so proud of you, babe. Our story has always had synchronicity written all over it. Our hikes have taken us to amazing places, not only at altitudes where breathing is hard, but deep in our hearts, too. If I'm an angel, I met my match in you. You are my angel in a cowboy hat ;-) Thank you for this. This touched my heart in so many ways. I will be staying close to my angel, too. xoxoxo
