    The trouble with carbs is there are bad carbs and then there are good carbs. If you keep this in mind, it's not too hard of a decision. As my husband is a diabetic, he knows that if he stays away from the "white" carbs--bread, potatoes, pasta--in the evenings, it keeps the blood sugar level. Other veggies are good for him (and me) and staying with regular servings of fruit. We all have to find what works for us!

    After 1 year of pushing protein and fat, reducing carbohydrates as much as possible, I gained 20 pounds. I am back to lots of veggies and I am dropping pounds again. Do what works for you. We are all different. Trial and error. Good luck.
