SparkCoach - Day 10

Hello Sparkers!

Today's visualization is about before and after photos, imagining how good it feels. Well, been there, done that. I remember how good it feels... losing the weight is never reeeally the problem for me, when I'm determined I can do it without much problem, but it's keeping the motivation up to keep the weight off. Still, my motivation is high at the moment so I won't dwell on the fact that I've put a bunch of weight back on!

In today's video, Chris is talking about doing just 10 minutes of exercise, the benefit of doing that even if you don't do anything else. This has been working well for me so far... because I set only tiny little goals that have been gradually increasing, it wasn't daunting or something that I had to set aside a bunch of time for.

He's just reminded me about "The Spark" - I really should go and re-read that. I think I even know where it is...

I'm feeling super, super motivated today. I've been watching a couple of things on the TV that have helped - for those in the UK, have a look at Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's latest documentary about fighting fat on iPlayer, really good stuff. It was shocking to me just how much sugar is in most breakfast cereals (not that I eat any of those any more apart from Weetabix, but still shocking). The rubbish we put in our stomachs, and in our children's stomachs, is just horrifying really.

I don't live in the UK, but for sure, it is horrifying what our "food" is made of! If it is a plant, it's safe to eat. If it's manufactured in a plant, it's NOT safe to eat. Plain and simple!

They are junk food and hazardous to our health. Sugar is addictive but not t controlled by the government like other drugs.
