Back to Square One :(

So, I met with the nutritionist for the first time. I took all of my food logs from the past 2 weeks for her to look at. She said I was on the right track but made a few tweaks to my numbers. I now feel like I’m starting all over again. After 10 weeks, I was in the grove and knew what I could eat safely and what I had to watch out for. All of that is gone now. I’m back to square one in learning what my new normal will look like. I’ve been doing a lot of stumbling the past 4 days trying to figure this all out. Staying in my carb goal range is easy. What is hard is how she wants me to do it. No more then 35 – 40 carbs per meal and no more than 10-15 per snack. Also, limit my carbs for breakfast. That one is the real kicker. That means no cereal or oatmeal I’m now finding out just how many foods have carbs in them. I never would have guessed asparagus has carbs in it, whaaaat? I’m glad the challenge is almost over. I don’t want to mess up my good record. I need some time to figure out what I’m doing before the next challenge starts.
I wouldn't stress so much about it if it were just a matter of losing weight. However, I have to reduce carbs for health reasons.
