Exercise is the key

I'm always struggling to get my glucose down to where it should be. I know what to do but can never seem to get it all together at the same time. Lol! I got a fitbit for Christmas a couple years ago and I still love it. So I'm trying to focus on being consistent with exercise. "Just do 10 minutes per day" is very motivating and I always do more. Walking is my favorite physical activity and I like that the fitbit counts the steps and syncs up with my Spark People tracker. I live right across the street from a beautiful park so even when I have no one to walk with, I don't mind walking some laps around the park. I think even in winter I'll be able to do that but need to figure out how to on rainy days. Feeling hopeful and encouraged today!

    I love to walk. It's a great way to get exercise and be outdoors. If I don't feel like being outside, I will walk while watching TV at night. It still gets the exercise in but it doesn't feel like it!

    I hope you are able to keep getting the walking in. Maybe you could find a used recumbent bike, or treadmill to purchase for days when walking outside is not doable? Where I live walking outside is sometimes difficult due to high/low temps ... I know many folks walk laps around the shopping mall in our area; apparently they open the doors early for walkers and have for a few years.

    Walking is my favorite form of exercise too. It's wonderful that you live near a park and can walk there! That would be great so you don't have to deal with traffic and car exhaust, etc. I prefer to walk with someone (usually my hubby), but don't mind walking alone too. Have fun!
