Positive effects that are not on the scale

You work hard, you try to eat right, keep moving and stepping and trying to get your weight down. It does, but with small wavers up and down. Sometimes you get discouraged but you keep going. Then, 4 months in, your husband says how proud he is of you and he starts walking every night with you. I did not know I was motivating him. Just by sticking with it and being determined, we can motivate others around us. By cooking healthy meals and including everyone in the family we can move others to a healthier lifestyle. The new recipes are pretty much a hit and change the boring food rut we were in, and I am sure the slow but steady weight loss has improved my mood and energy. Getting more done around the yard and house is a great plus. It feels good to be more actively checking items off the to-do list. I keep seeing the positive effects of my quest for health, and I am so glad I finally got my mind on board and plunged forward. I am glad to be a part of the Spark family since so many of you have kept my fire from burning out. Thanks for your Sparks! And maybe along the way I can help Spark someone else. Hugs to all! and remember, a lot of your journey is not measured on a scale!
