An Easier Way to Fit Exercise In, If You Can't Do It All at Once

I had a little problem. I wanted to increase my steps but could barely get 7500 steps in. So when I joined the Fall Challenge I tried to think of a way that would be easier.
I came up with a plan that worked well. I broke up the time into 4 sessions of 20 minutes each throughout the day. That gave me 80 minutes total. It was the first time I actually got over 10,000 steps and one time I got as many as 13,000.
This method is also easier for anyone that has some arthritis. I have an arthritic ankle and that foot bothers me at times so breaking the walking up that way helps.
If I am rip roaring to go, I may to 3 sessions of 27 minutes. Sometimes I even run a little.
I never walked until I was 70. And I have to laugh because then I could barely get 10 minutes in, in a day. It seemed so hard then.
