Living in Georgia
Monday, June 11, 2018
In the last four years a lot has happened. I lost my third son to cancer, he found out he had it April 5th 2014 the anniversary of my oldest son’s death. And he passed away on May 20th 2014. November of that year I fell and tore my rotator cuff and separated my shoulder blade and collarbone. But the surgeon I saw would not do surgery because of my age and because I was a heart patient. I got another opinion in November of 2015 and he did the surgery on the 18th of December. After months of PT, I recovered. In September of 2015 my mother passed away. In April of 2016 my last uncle passed away. I was also seeing a doctor for anemia. In August of 2016 I went back to Erie to live and spend time with my second son as he was given 6 to 12 months to live. In August of 2017 my daughter asked me if I would come down to Georgia for a few months until she could find another before and after school care for her youngest daughter. I came down and in November of 2017 my second son passed away. In March I fell and tore my same rotator cuff as before. I saw the surgeon and when I went to get cardiac clearance I was told that I needed to get the few teeth that I had out. So I had to get them out before I got my surgery on my left shoulder, as I would have to sleep sitting up until I recovered from my shoulder surgery. Now I’m going to PT and healing. I am down to 126 pounds which is 10 pounds less than I was before surgery.
