Good Morning SparkPeople!
Today marks 12 weeks since I've started my journey to a better me. I am down another .8 lbs bringing my total to 31 lbs in 12 weeks. I am down 6 inches in both my waist and my hips, and 3.5 inches in my thighs and arms.
This week and this month my goal is to REFOCUS! With my girls being off from school, I am finding it sometimes difficult to stay on track with exercising, and I'm finding myself "indulging" a lot more than I should!
Reflecting back on these past 3 months, I noticed that I didn't work as hard as I did on the first 2. There were weeks were I only exercised 2-3 times a week as opposed to 5-6. There were many days where I had an "indulgence" and many days where I was just tired and didn't record my entries into the food tracker.
I need to refocus, and stay on track. I need to continue to do the little things that have proven to be successful for me in this journey so far. I need to track EVERY meal, every snack, every "indulgence" and assure that I work out at least 5-6 weeks, and track that too! That way there are no excuses or regrets when I step on the scale. I will be refocusing today, this week, this month, and for the next 3 months to hopefully reach my end goal faster.
So if you, like me haven't been pushing as hard as you can, I want to tell you, It's okay. Sometimes life is difficult to bear and it just wears us down to the point where we don't want to do anything. But don't let it get you down for more than a day or two. Pick yourself back up, ask God to help you through it, and get back on track. Keep on working hard towards your goal. Give it everything you got and I promise you, your goals will be met, you will have a better outlook on life, you will be more energetic and you will be thanking yourself in the end!
