New Month Reflections

So, how has your June been overall. I would say mine has been challenging but overall positive and have made lots of progress in a variety of ways. there is room for improvement across the board but generally all steps have been in the right direction.
I have managed to rewire my brain to a certain extent which is making life easier when it comes to making better choices and reducing stress levels.
Yesterday I spent the day with my son Tom and it was a great way to say goodbye to June. We had lots of fun and I hope to have many more days like this in July!
I took him for a surprise visit to a wonderful dessert shop, not too far away and it was a really good surprise. I played a little prank on him, pretending to be going somewhere else and his eyes nearly rolled down his cheeks when we got there! He is pudding mad!
I took enjoyment from watching him choose (took ages, haha) and eating the most delicious looking cake! I had coffee over ice
We then went and played crazy golf (his choice) and spent a little while in the arcade which he loves. Later in the day we went to a pub and sat in the beer garden by the canal and he had cheeseburger and cheesy chips (oh to be 11) and I had chicken and bacon salad!
Here is a picture of Tom and his amazing treat. I think it will be a monthly visit because I have a loyalty card now, I mean, why would you miss out on the chance of a free waffle
