A hint from a blog helped me.

I drank eight glasses of water today. My glass holds ten ounces easily. I have tried before today and the most I have gotten down was six glasses. In the blog, it said to take eight pennies and as a glass is emptied to start a stack using one of the eight pennies.

I had put rubberbands around my glass, but the penny idea was much simpler. We are supposed to visit one of hubby's cousins tomorrow, be the Lord Willing.

    I have used that penny pile trick in the past and found it to be most helpful. I am fortunate now that the assistant at Physio supplies me with a large mug of cold water complete with ice cubes. She did this awhile back when I first became mobile and since that time I have been sweat g like a pig during my treadmill workout and I really need the water. Still, on non PT days it's still challenging to remember to drink up.

    Isn't it a blessing to find something(s) that helps us along this journey's path?

    I enjoy drinking water. I find that if I drink tap water & let it sit for an hour or so (glass covered) on the sideboard, it goes down easier (not so cold). However, for the first time in literally years, yesterday I made iced tea with black tea & found it refreshing. It was my first iced drink of the summer. I generally use herbal tea bags for watered down tea = flavored water by the time it is watered down.

    Helpful hints. Hope it works. This is my 4th month on 8 glasses a day. I went from 0 to 8 and I'm now liking it . Good luck
