Continuing the process

I am continuing the process I started 1 year ago, I lost almost 100lbs. I still have 60 more to go, I'm finding it hard because I can't seem to eat 2000 calories. My intake is between 1200 to 1400 all healthy foods. I'm at a plateau and want to cry.

    Welcome to SparkPeople. We are all here for the same reason, no matter what our personal story is. We are here to help each other to get to that healthy point we want to be in our lives. It is not going to be easy, but it is attainable. Make small goals and they will lead to big successes. You have to make you #1 and tell yourself that you are worth it. And remember you didn't gain the weight overnight and you won't lose it overnight. It takes time, determination, motivation and support. You can get it all right here!     Maybe its not it but I find when I hit my plateaus I am not drinking enough water EVERY day. I was told 1 oz of water for every two lbs. And try to drink 60% of it by 1PM. I find when I do that I drop about 2 lbs every week.

    I believe once once your body starting to realize that you're only putting 1200 to 1400 calories a day after awhile you will start dropping more weight continue to drink water exercise and if you can't do 2000 calories it should be okay

    I understand where you are, I have also been at a plateau for about 5 months. The positive is that I have not gained back any of the 50 I have lost so far. You've got this. One day at a time. emoticon
