Surviving the summer

Monday, July 16, 2018

It’s HOT. I’m not really a well person as a I have autoimmune issues and other health problems. So, Summer and I don’t get along. I wish I could get along with the heat. It would open up so many possibilities. But it’s just too hot. So, I’m spending the summer trying to do things to prepare for the fall and winter. I need to meet my weight and financial goals by the end of the year so I can do some stuff with my kids that can’t be done now. I won’t be able to do what I want to do with them because some things, like my back problems, just aren’t going away. But, I could definitely get to the point of looking better in pictures and not having to think about every single calorie. So, I’m back down under my “normal” weight but not back to my lowest. I’m going to try to finish my final goal of being to a healthier BMI by the end of the year.

It takes time with an autoimmune condition. But it can be done, even if it is slowly. I too have problems with heat and I live in FL too. So I do look forward to winter and that is the only time it gets cool enough for me to go outside and do the lawn and some gardening.
