5 % Challenge Exercise & Eating Plan

Here is my "pre-challenge" worksheet on exercise & nutrition. I am so excited about the official kickoff on Oct 6th!!
What type of exercise will you do? I have been making up a weekly exercise plan in a blog. I plan to keep this up. Basically, its treadmill walking & yoga, with some Walk Away the Pounds, resistance bands & pilates thrown in.
How many minutes and how often will you exercise? I try to exercise daily & my current goal is 20 min per day. I want to bump it up to 30 min when the challenge officially starts.
Do you know what diet you will follow? We are on a strict budget, which is a good thing. Restaurant food has many more calories than home cooked food!! We are striving to eat out 4 or less times a month!! (Which if you knew me pre budget, you would know how amazing this is!!)
Found some recipes? I have found some cool recipes using my crock pot. Not the leanest or healthiest, but it fits the budget & I will just eat less of them.
Grocery list? I follow this every week :)
Shop? Not my favorite thing to do, but its my job :) As part of my budgeting, Ive begun to shop only with cash. It has been super helpful at staying on or under budget & also not getting any high calorie extras!!
Do you have the food on hand to get started? Yes, I am sad that fall brings fewer cheap options for fruits & veggies tho!
Have you followed this diet before? Not the budget type :) But the "eat the same foods as the family" & "eat up all the leftovers", YEP! Been doing this for the last few months!
Did you clean up your kitchen? Not entirely. I still have 2 teenage boys, so there are sweets in the house. Ive "cheated" with cookies & cake, but only once each & it wasnt nearly as good as I hoped!
