Maintaining the Wt.Loss on 10th Week Though I had Pizza, Baked Potato And Tea Sweets~

Well, the poor food choices started last Friday,Aug.31,2018 at a tea.My DS and I go to these semi-annual teas sponsored by our library and you know the little goodies ~ little sandwiches and sweet "bites" of desserts and veggies dressed in dips!
So,I partook ,thinking "you earned it ~for heaven's sake ~NINE weeks of LOSING wt.!" But when my DS and I finished the two small trays BY OURSELVES emoticon ~no one else was at our table~ I thought ~Ok, just don't make any more poor choices this next week and the wt.gain {for the next day } will come off. {Yes, my body DOES GAIN with any change!}.
But going out to eat at a nearby restaurant and choosing the baked potato on Monday with the sour cream and butter did NOT help the situation!
In fact , an important note I have learned , for me, is to not have too much bread nor starchy veggies as it holds my weight UP and the less I have of them ,the MORE the weight goes down.
Now , I DID get in my ST ~Strength Training 2x this week on Tuesday and Friday nights ...which Helped TREMENDOUSLY because....
I took my DS out to lunch on Tuesday and went to emoticon Hut! And though I had salad,I DID have all the other numerous items~but when I got the slices I got the THINNEST I could find and SHARED the cinnamon sticks and icing~~my Shared Trackers tell all!
Got back on track on Wed. or so I thought ~I had Pureed Butternut squash for a side dish {and unbeknownst to me ,my DH had added sour cream when he made it ~[Daisy reduced ] so I was adding too much fat when I had more than 1 serving.
I DID decide to get my ST in on Friday night plus DANCING to some music CDs I had got for working out years ago and hadn't been using since our CD player had broken down {had DH get a new player}. I danced FAST for probably 10-15 minutes.
I also made myself walk the dog on our property Saturday morning for 30 minutes, and got in an afternoon walk with the family in for 30 min. at the local park* {we saw 6 deer grazing and 2 squirrels bounding from grass to tree* emoticon }.
Now, if you look at my Fitness Tracker for this past week,my numbers are HUGE ,but it is b/c I track ALL movement~{MINUTES ~196, 453, 111, 565, 474, 564,100}.
What I learned while on this wild ride of poor choices in eating is to get BACK on TRACK when you FINALLY can , KEEP UP the amount of MOVEMENT that you do each day , keep the constant 8 glasses of water {always!} and REALIZE you CAN BOUNCE BACK after those poor food choices days {especially if you don't DO them back to back to back!}. My Sparkfriends TRIED to tell me this in 2016 when I ate ALL the food at my DS's birthday party 2 years ago [no one had showed up and I was depressed for a whole week while I was eating] and at that time , I was only THREE lbs. away from a healthy weight.
I also know that SP WORKS when you follow it ~I am on my 3rd time back b/c I found out the 1st time ~you DO have to KEEP exercising to keep the wt.off, and I just told you about the 2nd time,so this is it for me in Round 3 .I have got it figured out and it is WAY EASIER for me now b/c my family and I have incorporated EXERCISE as a LIFE CHOICE to COMMIT to ~3-4x a wk. we run or jog or walk either at the park or on our property and I do ST 2x a week plus ONE REST day a week. So,rest assured SParkfriends and members , emoticon emoticon emoticon if you emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon and don't give up!! And to all those who who constantly encourage me, I THANK YOU! I do not want to let you down!!!! emoticon
