Perseverance is the KEY!!! I had to run/walk this MILE RUN last year.
It is a fundraiser our church does for IAM4KIDS. I ran it in 12:44.8. That means for this 58 yr.old, I was running @ 4.7 mph!!! All the training for JUST BEING ABLE TO RUN the WHOLE mile was what I was aiming for!!! WOO HOO !! PS~ Forgot to include I did this with A BUM LEFT FOOT! ~It gets numb when I run and the podiatrist said I have an extremely high arch which means I need softer orthodic inserts for my shoes than I have right now! WHEW!!!
