Keeping Myself Busy Blog

This is a Premium Coach suggested exercise to blog about today's challenge to keep busy this evening instead of turning to food after dinner. Today's coach was Jen and she set a challenge to close the kitchen after cleaning up after dinner and turn off the light and leave it of for the night, only going back into the kitchen for a glass of water.

For me, I have to have a snack before bed because of Diabetes. I do turn the kitchen light off and leave it off after cleaning up after dinner. I could have used this advice when my daughter was living here she became an emotional eater after the loss of her father, she would eat a couple of snacks before going to bed. Knowing this advice now I would suggest to stay out of the closed kitchen. Get a glass before closing the kitchen at night and get a glass of water from the bathroom faucet. I suggest this because I know that going back into the kitchen even for water the temptation would have been too much for my daughter.

When I got to the community section of Premium Coach it gave the suggestion of writing a blog to keep busy to keep the mind off of food. I like this idea, whether it is writing a blog here or writing privately in your journal. This is an awesome tool to help to come up with some other ways that you can keep yourself away from night time eating.


Yesterday I had a Premium Coach assignment to blog to plan out tomorrow's meals and ingredients and I will do this tomorrow night instead.
