1st 5% weigh in

So, I posted my weight for the first weeks weigh in for the fall 5% challenge today. I posted early because I forgot last week. Saturdays are "family day" & I am usually too buys to get to the computer.

Im officially up .6 pounds!! Im slightly upset, but I also know that Im feeling pms-y, so that should account for the gain. (Side note, no one told me when I had my hysterectomy 3 years ago that I would still have pms symptoms!! I did elect to keep my ovaries, so maybe I should have known. But I do think its something the drs should explicitly explain to you before surgery!!)

Anyway, I have also started a book/plan called the 12 week year. It helps you focus your attention on 2-3 goals for 12 weeks at a time. Through the end of the year coincides with about 12 weeks & the fall challenge. So one of my goals is to lose my 6 pounds. I have 5 action steps to accomplish each week. I am going to concentrate on those (one being complete the Clover challenge each week). All I can really control is my ACTIONS, so I am going to try to focus on those!!

I have also contributed exercise minutes each day this week, so I feel great about that!! Yoga is really helping me relax and focus during all the craziness that has become my life!!
