How to be positive in a negative world

One of my personal goals since November 2017 has been to remove complaining and negative self-talk from my life. I'm on a plateau with my weight and have to overcome the old thinking that would have accompanied the scale being 'stuck'. I know as long as I keep on keeping on, I WILL reach my goal. Choice after choice, day after day, small steps count.
Most of the time I'm successful, but I need reminders like the quotes from this article.

Sometimes when someone criticizes you or your effort, it can be a challenge. However, you are in control of your reaction.
