100 Days of Weight Loss - Day 3

In your diet or exercise plan, identify a task you don’t feel like doing, and then
do it anyway! Record it here.

The task I struggle with most is meal planning. I do not like cooking. I find it time consuming and a real chore.

Notice how it feels to accomplish a goal by taking a “no matter what” approach to it. Describe your reaction.

I am well aware of how it feels to take the no matter what approach. I spent the past few years working towards my black belt. I went to class no matter what.
Sometimes I didn’t feel like going but I went anyway. I never regretted going. I was always happy once I got there.
I need to take this approach with my food. I can exercise all day long but I will never accomplish what I want to accomplish without my meal plan. My diet is important. Very important.
And like TKD class, if I do it, I will not regret it. And once I do it, I will be happy.

Make a list of several actions you plan to stick with today, regardless of how you feel at the moment.

I plan to stick to my meal plan today even though I would sooner just grab take out on the way home.
I plan to do some lifting after work even though I would sooner watch Dr Phill( Garbage for my brain!)
I plan to stay positive and no expect instant results. This is Day 3. Major changes take time.
I plan to spend 5 minutes meditating before bed no matter what…
