November

Wednesday, November 28, 2018

I'm going to just skip November's from now on.

Last November my husband suffered a major heart attack.

This November I had to put down my cat of 16 years and then I was told I was being laid off from my job.

Now the good news is... my husband survived! We just celebrated his 1 year anniversary by walking a half marathon together.

My cat was WELL loved and had a long life full of snuggles.

Honestly... I don't like my job and this is a good kick in the butt... however.. it's always nice to leave on your own terms rather than being shoved out the door. LOL It's about 1/3 of our office that's being laid off. It's scary, but God provides.

Hoping to jump back into a healthy lifestyle now. Although, I like to have a solid plan and not knowing my schedule going forward makes that hard. I'll make a plan for now I suppose and adjust when needed!

Here's to a Happy Christmas season!

I'm sorry this month was so hard for you Sarah! Losing a kitty is so tough, and after having go through that whole layoff thing last summer when Jason was let go, I know how tough that is too. Thinking of you and hope you get through these tough times quickly!

Even though you haven't had the best November, it is good to hear from you.

Re: the job situation, in a layoff doesn't your state pay you at least 13 weeks' of unemployment? If you get any severance, that should get you into at least March... That should give you some time to work on your health goals and look for a job you like much better.

    Have a great holiday season!!

I am so glad for you husband and you. I feel for you about the loss of your cat, as I had my 17 year old cat put down this month also. She also had a good life and I so enjoyed her company.

You are going to do fine. You sunny attitude will see you and your family through these times.
