Tough couple of weeks then a breakthrough!

So it happened. It happens everytime...Plateau and munchies even though I am measuring and tracking everything and staying in range.

Week before last I plateaued even had water retention (I realise you don't put on 1.5 kg overnight because of fat:)) At first I blamed girlie hormones and just told my self keep going it will pass.

Problem 2 hit...the munchies. They started to get stronger through the week. I have learnt about myself that willpower will eventually run out and I will end up eating the fridge...and the pantry....and probably a good section of the potato chip aisle at the supermarket.

So I decided to try a tactic I had read about body builders using. I deliberately ate over my range to maintenance level one day and munchies disappeared. I made sure I ate to the higher end of my range all week and another day deliberately over (but under maintenance level).

I ate healthy choices to "overeat" with. High fiber and protein.

It worked! appetite went back to normal and I dropped 1.3Kg.
