The journey

I've been asked for my tips on the weight loss journey this week after being motivator of the week so I thought I'd make a quick post:

I tried everything until I found the right one, for me high protein low carb worked. I also ate 5-6 small meals a day and started at the gym after I'd lost 28lbs in the first month. I didn’t give my body chance to get hungry or bored.

Tips wise- listen to your body, our bodies crave food especially if we eat things it can't utilise such as chips so our body then tells us to keep eating as it thinks if we eat enough it may be able to utilise what we've eaten however if we are stuck in a junk food cycle we just eat more and more and the body can't use it.

I also kept a food diary and journal which I still keep now. I write everything down and I say ONE NICE THING about myself every day. A positive mindset is needed to stay on track and you need to convince yourself that you are not on a diet you are eating for a healthy life

    The tracker her at SP made the difference for me! I didn't want to have to log something that put me way over, but it also allowed me to have "treats" such as a couple of candy kisses for 50 calories if I wanted them. You have done very well with your strategies!! Each of us is an experiment of one to see what works for us! Keep up the great work!
