Day 36 - today was a tough one!

Today I quit smoking, threw the remaining smokes away and had a couple nictotine lozenges throughout the day. Since I smoked quite a lot, I had the expected cravings throughout the day, but was ready for these and able to cope. Couple of times considered running (well, driving.....) to the gas station and delay by another week.....but managed and did not do it....

What was unexpected today though was that I had absolutely no motivation and energy all day, not just lazy, but rather lethargic, quasi-depressed. I am positive its not anything I ate or a cold coming on, just really couldn’t get myself motivated to catch up on work and emails which are piling up and are currently overwhelming. I think if you look up procrastination a picture of me comes up.....

But, I did really well with my food choices, so that’s a positive for today, but am obviously concerned and careful that my mood is not going to affect my food choices

Started the day with 3 soft boiled eggs, and lunch 1 cup of cottage cheese.
Dinner was 3/4 of a Costco roast chicken
Made sure I had plenty of water to fight the nicotine cravings

This weeks mission - stay focused on planning the week around all meals and the nicotine cravings. Have to deal with a catered office lunch and business dinner in addition to not snacking to make up for the nicotine. - I can do this and I WILL do this.

Also lost about 3lbs this week, so good there as well.

Day 36 - 31.4 lbs down - only 168.6lbs or 564 days to go to 225lbs
