STRUGGLING RIGHT NOW

For the last few weeks, I have been struggling in my journey. Up til now, I have maintained my "head set" that I am not in a race to lose weight and mostly want to just improve my health and well being. So, I have not lost a great deal in pounds. However, I have managed to lose enough to go down one full size in 6 months by eating much better and implementing exercise into my lifestyle.
Here's the thing... recently, I have been feeling that after all the "sacrifices" (limiting sweets and spending more time at the gym) shouldn't the scale number be much lower? So, I find myself feeling a little let down. As a result, lately I stopped tracking my food as closely and skipped more days at the gym and you know what happened??? The scale has already creeped up 3 pounds. Duh!! The pounds sure do come back much easier than coming off!!!
So, I will go back to my original plan, get those 3 pounds off, and remember that its better than the alternative.
