I Haven't been here for almost 2 years. Life went nuts, my knees went wonky, and only what was absolutely necessary got done for awhile. I'm feeling my old self again, and my knees are less wonky so it is time to reclaim things that I want to reclaim. Getting my weight down is something I want to do. It will help my knees and lower back. It will also help my mental state because being thinner will make it easier for me to walk, so I can get out of my house and do more without feeling like I need my son with me just in case my knees or back act up.
When I joined on 6/11/2016 I weighed 410 pounds
My last time here on 6/4/2017 i weighed 383 pounds. 27 pounds lost in a year. Not as much as I had hoped, but any loss is better than none.
This morning 4/21/2019 i weighed 348 pounds. That is 35 less than my last time here and 62 pounds lost total.
My goal weight is 140 pounds and if I lose 2 pounds a week I should hit that by 4/15/2021. Based on my past history, I will be very very surprised if I hit the goal by that date. I like surprises, so I am going to go for it and see what happens.
I am approaching this in a better frame of mind than when I was here before. Losing weight while I was dealing with so much makes me feel like I can really do this. I didn't backslide while going through things that made me backslide and gain weight in the first place. I'm looking forward to this trip.
