It's been a very stressful and sad week for my husband & I. We had to put down our 16 year old Yorkie on Wed. He's been with us since he was a puppy, and through most of our time together.
He was the best dog! He had a great temperament and picked up on things quickly. He ended up having a lot of health issues through the years and we ended up spending a lot of $$$ on him. He even had diabetes the last 4 yrs of his life, due to a med he was on.
We miss him so much. He was a big part of our house and our world. We would gladly take him back, if we could. It's going to take some time to get over the loss. I feel really depressed and drained right now. I know grief can do that to you. So I am going to be good to myself, and do what I can. I know we were lucky to get him and to have had him for so many years. We'll always remember, our Buddy.

Just saw this about Buddy. I know this is so hard. Our BooBoo was 16 when she went over the Rainbow bridge and my DD cat Cheddar was almost 19. How very hard to lose such good friends. Hugs. 574 days ago
MILPAM3 It's hard to suffer such a loss. Maybe doing a bit of volunteer work at an animal shelter might help. You can get in some soothing petting time. 591 days ago

I'm so sorry you had to say goodbye. We've been there many times and it never gets easier. Thank you for giving this beautiful little dog a loving home and all the love he needed to the very end. 592 days ago
