Well I finally got back on here and into logging my food again; it feels good to have goals set! I created goals, my first weigh in for a long time, joined a challenge and all.
I made/tried Gumbo for the first time yesterday with some fresh okra and veggies from my garden, tweaking recipes my own way and with what I had on hand as always. I had to plug it into Spark Recipes to add it to my nutrition tracker, so I figured why not share it in a blog post? It was pretty easy to make and very yummy. I completely guessed on the amount of servings for a recipe; someone let me know if you make it and I am way off.
You can check out several of my other recipes I have posted over time also; I plan to make some more again soon! There are some that were makeovers of existing recipes and such that it won't let me share but the ones I could are some good favorites too.
