My crazy day at home
Friday, August 09, 2019
I was up early so got 4 envelopes ready to mail before 8 then got my hair done and took Buck along to the PO. Then I came home and took a nap until the handy man started pounding. Had my lunch and tried resting again gave up and went to finish a really cute little 8" block. These are the blocks that the MN shop hop gives you at each store. So I've gathered about 10 so far and hope for another 15 or so before the week it out. But I have most of the long distance ones finished. Now it's just the ones within 75 miles of me.
Made myself a nice little pork steak for dinner with some sweet potatoes and decided I really needed to get some of these rows from yesterday ready for shipping. So there are now 10 more envelopes sitting here ready. Many of them have at least 2 rows in them. Buck has even been asking to play tonight. Tug was his game of choice.
1. The bags of rows are getting smaller.
2. This lovely block is finished with fabric from my stash.
3. Not so humid today my feet aren't as swollen
So tomorrow my trip is to New Ulm which is only 40 miles away and there are 3 of the stores I need to go to there. All of them have rows and blocks but i only have 20 blocks to pick up. One of them I will buy for myself because it is beautiful but is made of applique wool. It goes into my I'm going to try this someday.
