Another run down

Saturday, August 10, 2019

Only a couple of more days of running and it's back to my rather boring life. I finished both the New Ulm stores and ran over to the Mankato one too. Finished a section of Quilt MN and got 8 matching fat quarters. The rest of my runs all have less than 4 shops and are all within easy driving distance. I might even call my cousin that lives in one of the town and see if she wants to meet for lunch that day.

Eating wasn't grand because I did Subway again. I was in a small town and it was the only place with a restroom I knew would be clean. So I enjoyed my tuna sandwich and a raspberry cookie. Then had carrots and hot dogs for dinner. I had taken Buck with me and he did good in the car even figured out that when I open the door he has to get out of my seat. But after sitting outside chatting with a neighbor a bit this evening I had to take another shower and still I feel little things crawling all over me.

Thank fulls
1. it was supposed to rain today but it didn't
2. worked on a Minnesota pillow for the nursing home raffle
3. My new internet activity is better than playing games

As I sit here looking at my desk I think tomorrow might have to have some organizing in it. I have to figure out what I've shipped, what needs shipping, who needs to pay me and if I missed anyone. Today I learned I paid for the rows from Alaska twice. Think I should have started a spreadsheet to keep track of this instead of post it notes.

I think a spreadsheet is a great idea. I use them for quite a few projects.

I think a spreadsheet is a brilliant idea - not sure HOW you're keeping track of so many different rows for different people and which you've received money for and shipped! Once you're done with all this running around, picking up rows, I imagine it will take awhile just to take stock of what you HAVE now and figure out which project you'll start on next!

A spread sheet sounds like a great idea, with all the things your sending out or have ordered for yourself. At a glance you can see where everything is standing for who, what was sent. who has paid My hubby has used them for years for many projects, even one for monthly budget. Myself, never used on except when in high school a class with checking, budgeting and doing company books ---was a terrific class back then. Hope you have nice days to go shopping for the rest of your shops. I never knew there was such a thing as this Quilt Mn. but it sure sounds like fun. These shops must be mostly not right around the twin cities, but then maybe there are some.

I think you are right about using a spread sheet. They work well for tracking so many things.

I love spreadsheets. So much you can do with them, including highlighting items to remind you to do them
