Got Busy with Finals and a Vacay and Now, the Bad News

Hey all so the great BIG motivational news is that I got diagnosed with a health condition that is forcing me to cut out carbs and sugars. Talk about being motivated.

What is more, I had to see the doctor last week because I had a migraine for eight days straight. Now, I am on medication that is making my slow and foggy headed, but my headache finally vanished. I have also had a pinched nerve that is now under control. I am seeking alternative health avenues like acupuncture and massage therapy to help.

Anyway, all of this has been difficult to absorb, and I am having a hard time processing it all. I have been eating low-carb since last Thursday, when I got the bad news. And now, I am trying to sneak in exercise. I am also trying to see this as an opportunity to eat how I have been wanting to for a while. Now, I have to. :(

Well, keep me in your prayers and send positive energy. I will send some your way back.

    I know you wrote this earlier this summer, so I hope things have gotten easier. I got ahold of some great cookbooks and am fixing the most delicious meals ever. Hang in there----It really IS about getting ahold of the right information so you can discover the benefits of keto. (LCHF)

    Once you get use to eating this way, you'll feel much better. I have been doing Keto for about a month and I feel so so much better. My sugars (I'm diabetic) have come down to the normal range which it terrific. There is so much you can make and do with keto.

    Good luck with this new lifestyle. It takes a while to get use to it, and time for you to detox from the sugar overload that you are use to. There is sugar in everything, so it's not just sweets that cause it.
