My Life Saver Belt of Healthy Habits

This summer has been difficult for me - summers always are!
I was nearly 100% compliant with my Beck Diet Solution (and Bright Line Eating) rules and plans from October through May, and I slowly but surely lost the pounds I gained Last Summer... even dropped under my center weight of 128 pounds, I was down to 121 pounds (I never wanted to be that thin, even if still a healthy BMI 19).
Fast forward 3 summer months - and I'm up to 132 pounds!
OK, these are the extreme low and high values, and my weight fluctuates +-3 pounds overnight, but that is still a net 5 pound gain. Sigh...
I'm not worried because I always go back to center, but I'm annoyed because I did so much better last summer.

This morning I'm thinking of my BDS skills and habits as a life saver belt.
I can practice my skills and habits, and float safely and comfortably on the surface.
But without them, I can't keep swimming forever, sooner or later I get exhausted, struggle and even sink, if I don't get help.

So from now on, I'll hold on to my life saver belt, and don't throw it away in overconfidence, just because staying on the surface is easy with it.
