Back from a divine holiday :-)

A very long time since I blogged here. Firstly my partner had heart trouble and then a cancer op - successful I’m happy to say. After that, I wasn’t well for a while - more or less 18 difficult months in all and I have been very dispirited because of it. I have some answers for the fainting fits I've been having - nothing life-threatening and am following all recommendations offered by the specialist and everything is much better now - for both of us. After all this, my younger son, DIL and grandkids invited me to go glamping as a relaxing treat and no one could have done anything kinder or better for me. A week in a very luxurious tent - lots of fresh air - peaceful, beautiful and green with lots of fun and some trips out. Truly I couldn’t have asked for better.
This was our 'tent' though glamping tents are worthy of a better name!
This was looking out of the tent
AND this was the view from the veranda - could have spent all day gazing at this - known now as 'Granny's View'!
A pretty little river ran along the bottom of the field
By the river was a fire pit for evening socialising - and toasted marshmallows!
The sunsets were gentle but glorious
We even had a rainbow to the delight of the grandchildren
All in all a great time was had by all that I will be forever grateful for. Lucky me!
