Back from Alaska

I didn't make my personal goal weight before the cruise to Alaska but I'm happy that I lost 1/2 lb while on the cruise. No kidding, I ate mostly what I wanted but walked A LOT. Now that I've been back for a week I'm down another lb. The one thing I've learned it that I don't want to end up like my Mom. 73 years old and dependent on a walker. She's gained LOTS of weight since a medical scare at the beginning of the year and seems to have given up on moving because of a back problem. That is NOT my lot in life. I will lose my weight!
I just had all my labs done last Monday. By the numbers I'm ready to roll! Nothing lurking in my numbers that I need to be concerned about. Now it's all about a new relationship with food and taking off the weight. My doctor has given the Thumbs Up to Whole 30 (as long as I take a calcium supplement). With the exception of a couple slips (which start the clock again) I've been doing great. Today is W30, R2, D1 (again).
