I got a perm today so my cowlicks are all behaving. I had them plastered to my head when I left here this morning by the time I got to the hairdressers after the post office it was all standing up again. It's been windy and chilly here today but we are expecting summer here tomorrow.
The wedding is up in Walker MN so it's a couple of hours north of here so I'll wear a nice silky shirt and some nice dress slacks. I'll even wear my ortho shoes because I know the whole thing is outside and I don't like walking on grassy surfaces that don't feel flat. I'm expecting a bit of a challenge for the afternoon and evening.
This is a photo of Peanut helping me crochet. I have about 1/4 of a skein of yarn left I guess I'll make her a little blanket for her basket because she was very helpful when she laid on the balls of soft fluffy yarn.
1. it is not going to rain this weekend
2. Buck gets to visit his former owners over the weekend
3. Heaters are your friends when mother nature goes nuts. Today was 62 tomorrow is supposed to be 85 here. Crazy
I'll be out of here before it gets too warm tomorrow. But tonight I have the heater on in the computer room and Peanut seems to believe I turned it on for her. I'm really happy with my hair being permed again. Always so much nicer to just comb and go instead of plastering it down. Can't wait to get home on Sun. so I can go back to my quilts. At least I'll get in a visit with my brothers and their families. I guess.
