More Saturday Procrastinating

I still have a long to-do list, and I still have absolutely NO motivation to get anything done.
Since my last blog, I did manage to get some work done, though, so that's a good thing.
I painted the living room and the hall that goes up the stairs, as well as the hall that leads to the living room I've changed all the sockets and light switches in the living room and the halls. The tools i used are all piled in the kitchen on the small cabinet I use as an island in there, so the kitchen is a mess. There's so much more left to do, and the state of the kitchen is making me cringe.
I know that the solution would be to just get off my backside and get the work done, but boy oh boy, it's so much easier to just ignore the mess and to watch movies and do nothing instead.
Today's mission: I need to patch a hole in the powder room wall. The room was renovated earlier this year. The contractors installed a bath towel rack on one of the walls. Last Sunday, I touched the towel rack, and the thing ripped out of the wall, taking a patch of drywall, roughly 2 x 2 inches square with it. It shouldn't have. I barely put any pressure on the thing when I touched it. I had been pondering on whether I should paint the room (it was painted white by the contractors), and now I guess I have a reason to, that is, after I patch the hole.
Then I'll move on to the rest of my list:
Once the powder room is done, I'll have to fix the pocket door that is used to separate the small foyer at the entrance from the rest of the main floor. The dog knocked the door off the track, so I'll have to open up the wall to repair it. When the door is fixed, the wall is patched, I'll take the time to paint that entrance. I'll have to change the light stitches in the entrance too.
Then I'll move on and paint the dining room and the kitchen. I've already changed the light switches, but the sockets will need to be changed.
Doing all this will update the main floor.
I'll move my tools up to the second floor then, and I'll get to work on painting the second bedroom, and then change all the light switches and sockets. I painted my own room two years ago, so only the sockets need to be changed. The bathroom was renovated, so I'll just have to finish putting my things away (I haven't gotten to moving all the stuff back since I emptied it for the renovation.).
Then the big job of sorting and organizing the basement.
All this work should keep me busy through the autumn and winter.
Now I just need to find the motivation to get it done.
