To lose weight you must create a calorie deficit. Plateau are simply a time to reevaluate your plan. What worked at 250 pounds is not going to work at 214. Today's weight in wast 213.8 it might have been .6 the excitement overwhelmed me. I am down 36.4 pounds since starting in May. I am down a total of 53.9 pounds total. I was at what people call a plateau last few weeks. So the answer was to eat towards lower end of calorie range. So I am shooting for 1300 to 1400. I pack all my food for the day. I make my breakfast. If I change what I eat during the day. I change my log. For this 5 week I am completely skipping sugar. Only will have it if I have a blood sugar emergency. I also upped my water to 10 glasses. We are just in our 2nd week. I dropped 6 pounds the first week and am up to 8.6. I think drinking more water helps. Exercise has been flaky with life and work. one of the reasons I can't eat 1600 calories and lose weight. I am doing something everyday. Also I do cleaning on the weekends that I can log in the app but doesn't show up in steps. I am also switching out my carbs. Very little crackers or bread. Eating more brown/wild rice. the last week of October I have to work 12 hour shifts all week. I have no clue how I will make it.

I wish you the best. A week of 12-hour shifts would be pure torture for me. I often work 10 hours and that seems like forever and I am busy the whole time. emoticon

Good luck staying focused on your eating goals. I don't see how you could work out and sleep unless you do something like a relaxing walk.
