Day 5: Keeping to the rules, sprinkling in some exercise & fun

Well, my eating window closes in an hour. Dinner is on the stove/in the oven, and I will close up another successful day. I stayed within my eating window, and I didn't eat any junk food.
I made it to the gym both days this weekend, and ran on the elliptical for more than 6 miles. Today, my daughter and I made apple crisp, and I did eat some. I skipped lunch, so it worked into my calories, and I did NOT use it as an excuse to binge. So, it's a win.
I'm not expecting miracles at this point. You can't. This is a fresh beginning, and I need to treat it as such. October will be a successful month if I stay in my eating window and don't eat processed junk.
