Sun 10/6 relaxing

Sunday, October 06, 2019

It's Sunday, a day to relax. No children to watch, no chores to do.

Yesterday we went to Kay's Jewelry to get hubby's watch fixed. It needed a new battery. I also thought, "why not get mine fixed too--it has a scratch on the crystal." When I got home, I decided to check my other watch, and lo and behold, that battery had died too. Oh well. The watch I use every day doesn't need a watch as long as I use it (wrist motion). So I guess I'll need to change the battery on that one too!

We also went to Costco (again) to shop for more groceries. My grands love the Perfect Bar refrigerated protein bar. There's only 12 bars and it's about $20, but it's very delicious. There are three flavors: almond, peanut butter, and chocolate. Of course, they all love the chocolate, but the other flavors are good too. it will be a treat for them so they won't get to eat it daily.

We did the self checkout at Costco too. Now we have the system figured out, and this time it went smoothly. Last time it took way too much time.

Have a great Sunday.

I love self checkout because I get to pack my good groceries especially certain things like bananas (easily bruised) or crackers (easily cracked)
