Day 103: Grateful for kindness! 15 days to Thanksgiving

Thursday, November 14, 2019

Got my workout in this morning, I was pretty sore last night and we decided to take a break from the gym. I did get a walk in that morning though. Today I'm grateful for kindness and the ability to gift it upon others.

Adult: "Watch"
Adult: "Hey! Your hat is awesome! And you're awesome for wearing it!"
Man with hat: "Oh....um thank you"
Adult: "Now look at his face, We all have powers"
child: "Cool"

Love that comic. So sweet! It's amazing how just a few kind words can change someone's day completely! Sometimes, when I'm out running, I'll see someone scowling and think
'oh wow, they seem mean'
But then if I smile at them and say good morning they'll smile right back happily.
Never judge!!

Also, if they have a dog or child with them and I say "wow, so cute" they'll really transform! Pure joy! I want to try to compliment others with sincerity more often!

I'm gonna end this blog on that wonderful note. I did quite well yesterday sticking with a low cal spinach and tuna salad. This morning I got out for a run although was quite foggy. I'm loving the cool November weather...even though I won't enjoy the winter coldness on my runs!

Almost Friday! Have a great day!

I remember people's random kindness for many moons. A smile or random kind comment can really change our lives! Woo HOOO! I love your actions of mentioning children and pets. Had a teen stop me on my walk yesterday and play with my dog. We made a good connection. emoticon
