FAIL - BACKSLIDE - 10 Steps in reverse

261 days until August 3rd (my goal is to stay on point and reach fitness/weight by then)

SO- as I said in previous post; I knew there was a rough patch ahead, and I failed to navigate it- wound up in the ditch.

However, I have climbed out of said ditch. Was up and at it early this morning, pot on for tea, cooked breakfast, some time listening to a favorite teacher and got on the elliptical while chatting with my brother on his commute. It was a crazy couple of weeks, I got off track, and am back on track now. HOWEVER, I may have failed in my calorie count last week, in ALL other aspects, my weeks were good. STRESSED, yes. Unusual? YES. Though good.
And now it is done. I had the major relicensing done, two days of training out of town, a 5.5 hour round trip drive for a photo session done, major house cleaning and some painting done, final photography meeting for 4H (where we gave away a wonderful prize) done, planning and creating for the new endurance ride done....and more....OHHHHH and yes, PMS the first week followed by the monthly visitor for the second week..... with all that travel, odd hours and PMS+---- I'm just happy to have survived the first two weeks of November......I had a FAR unusual amount of driving.... and wouldn't you know it, it is the month that we decided to swap car insurance and say yes to the little tracker in my truck.... so my driving habits will be SO not accurate......SO yep. I did not count calories, I did not meal prep or plan.... I had junk food....... now that two weeks is over, and I am back on track.... SO admitting it all and keeping track of it here- so I can learn from my journey.

Felt great to get on the elliptical this morning, felt great to be back on track. AND for the first time in my life I am looking forward to this winter. YEP I AM. Thanksgiving will be here at our house, we get to show the family our new barn, though my brother has been helping a bit with it last weekend, we hope that it will all be done by then, full of horses, and the kids can come out and enjoy brushing horses and maybe taking a little pony ride in the barn.

STRANGELY though all that with the two weeks, my next size down jeans were still fitting emoticon Don't ask me how, I don't know- though when I started this odyssey I was in a snug size 16, and now am fitting just fine in my size 14's even though I SWERVED big time. SO, I will keep updating, even if I fail. Though lets hope there are no more weeks like those.

    Sounds like you are trekking on. How long will the endurance ride be? This winter?
